Speedometer Template

Post by CASAPilot »

I'm looking to make a custom speedometer faceplate for my '78, does anybody have a vector drawing of one? I took the stock faceplate out intending to scan it, but it has that little pin that stops the needle at zero sticking out of it so that's not an option. I own a CO2 laser cutter and have acrylic sheeting of the correct thickness, all I need is a template to work off of.

Thanks

I don't have a vector drawing, but I have removed the "zero pin". Just drill it out from the rear, do the necessary scanning, and then reattach the pin with a dab of epoxy in the rear of the face plate.

Just another option.
